My dearest, sweetest love,

I am humbly writing to tell you that I,

Am scared.

Pray you, don't misunderstand me,

It is not you that I'm afraid of.

For you have been nothing but beauty,

And I have been nothing but shame.

It is I that I fear and for what I might do

Please, let me explain.

As a creature of habit, I tend not to stray.

There have been many a pattern which show this.

There are reasons, you know, why I do what I do

But that is besides the point.

I have boiled myself down to a body and an ego trip

For thrill seeking men yearning for a sanctuary.

Old habits die hard, it's a fact you know

So please understand why sometimes I'd rather

Entertain a man for a night

Than let one love me for a lifetime.

It's not that I don't want you

Believe me, there's never been a greater lie

It's that I'm not quite sure that I'm cut out for love

Is it a matter of deservence? I'd imagine it is

I'm too lowly a life to reciprocate.

But if I had the chance, I'd take it all back

And start my life with you.

Dust

There's dust

On my piano -

Too tired

To play the songs

Of my life

Too tired

To find a

Song to play

PB&J @DaveK and @Skull

Attention all Prosers!

In case you didn't know

DaveK's not yet a man

So he can't be your bro

Falsely claims that his pen

Is thick as Dino Dick

But he holds in his hand

A mere tiny pen prick

Hell, you might as well say

It's an oversized clit

Blasting facials he says?

Ha! There's more ink in my spit!

He thinks he's a poet

'Cause he uses big words

Just a valiant attempt

At polishing up turds

Claims victory to Skull

Assured he's won the crown

Till I whipped out my pen

Blew them both the fuck down!

And as for this Skull guy

Acting like a Prose Pimp

I got news for you man

Like DaveK, your pen's limp

Silly boys never learn

Us girls put you to shame

Skull you lost your manhood

To AGirlHasNoName

Now DaveK's has been slain

By my acid laced ink

With such an ass beating

Think he might need a shrink

I'm sure I hear crying

Awe boys, what's the matter?

Embarrassed that our pens

Spew a much bigger splatter?

Tuck your pen in your pants

Boys, this game you can't win

Now stop your damn whining

And take it on the chin!

You should've read the package

Don't blame us for your stress

See, we purchased ballpoint

Your guys pens came ball-less

Breaking open my mind would be

Like looking into a kaleidoscope of you

To be or not to be?

To be rude to the man who cut in line

Who stands two feet in front of me

With an arrogant smile

Quite satisfied that he will get there

One minute before me

To be angry at the ignorance

Of the masses who don't know better

Who are willing to nominate a tyrant

Because they are being targeted

By those promising everything

But secretly know nothing

To be devastated by the violence

That is on our tv's

And is created by our dollars

At the movies and the taxes

That we pay

I choose not to be

Not to be the one

Perpetrating such ugliness

To fan the flames of retribution

And pour gasoline on those

So rotten from hate

For being rotten on the inside

Is its own punishment

Even if they won't

Consciously admit it

Wrath decays your heart

And late at night

They have to listen

To the voice that whispers

That their selfish motives

Will be the downfall of mankind

So, I choose not to be

Not to be anything like them

Otherwise I can't

Look my child in the eyes and know

The world I am creating for him

Remorse

the regret is as tar

coating his insides

like mucus,

a disease that

adapts to time,

stays fresh, and moist,

breathes into his mind

with stale breath,

yesterday's ghost reflected.

Lie Closer to Me

Oh, lie closer to me,

you’re too far away

melt into my core.

Let our bones

merge together

our hearts meld.

Throbbing veins

become one.

Let me touch

your thoughts

with my eyes

tingling,

our juices

comingling.

Our legs entwined

in coils of love.

Fused moist lips

wandering tongues

Our hot skin

A continuous stream

Binding us together

Never ending ecstasy

Oh! Lie closer to me.

Love Revived

My cold skin

Leeching the warmth from your body.

My scarred heart

Lifting at the sound of your laughter.

You are the fire that warms my blood.

You are the hope that penetrates my heart.

You are the blazing light in my darkness.

I am 21 years or older.
