Turned technicolor with your love

Gray clouds burst open,
Shooting sunbeams like lasers
Fiery shades of orange, red and pink
Coating the grayscale ground below
The oceans are swirling rainbows
Giving birth to baby rivers of gold
And lakes and streams where water flows
In magical mint shades of green

And the trees in brilliant blue
Everywhere I look, the world is new

The world is magical
I never knew life could be this lovely

Each on their curve
A fair distance apart.
Thinking of themselves
While regarding the other.
They handle their forks in quiet
They sip their wine in solitary.
They do not argue
For what's the point.

For they could not remember

In response to those moods.
Our round table lovers,
Expressions managerial,
Composed, they speak of their day
At work, at home,
Journeys held solo.

The other waits patiently,

Awaiting a turn to divulge monastic.

What it's like to have loved and to have lost..
LOVE...the intense feeling of warmth, wanting, desire, the sky is clear, your senses alert, a feeling that nothing else matters, you're in a world of fantasy but that..feeling you never want to end. Running free along the beaches, listening to your laughter. We were intertwined.
Then to loose that love..as if you're in a downward spiral, unable to function communicate, despair. As if the world is caving around you and there's no way out. A deep sense of depression, feelings of self doubt, accusations..the crying never ends. Wanting you to want me, still not knowing if you ever will.
When will it end? How can a love so desired be now exhumed, the flames have taking over and you can't fan then out. I wished I'd never let you go...
The pain may end but the memories of love lost lasts lifetimes...
