With this dearth of prompts to consider, rather than to complain I will create my own. Any genre.
Shutter
I wonder often about presence. We feel much more than we see.
The way you hover over my shoulder. Guardian angel legions, looming; undisguised demons, lurking. A physical sensation tempered by something invisible. No matter what I am doing. Suddenly, you are near. Checking in on me. And I'd like to know, what that looks like viewed from the side.
So many moments pass us by...
That's what it's like.

Haha! not like that at all. I was thinking very literally of all the photographs not taken, with all the people who are important to us. Among the things I treasure most are our family photo albums. And I can't help but think of moments when a picture would have been taken, if someone were there to take it, but is not. Then people pass away, and become ghosts in our thoughts. Thoughts that remind us of the things we are or are not doing. Like for instance all the photos not taken of my son <3M
