Ethereal

On a dingy devil day

I looked my demons

in the eye and sang

“Shadows of Darkness

come a calling for me -

     “Uh Huh! Uh Huh!”

I’ll sharpen my teeth

on your mildewed flesh,

throw salt in open wounds

hell bent with

ripe musky scent,

lulled by your insanity

      “Uh Huh! Uh Huh!”

But now I feel

warm fingers of light

angel walking by my side

whispers in clouds

of heavenly breath

roaring of tides,

cool vapor of mist

sheltered in celestial rays.

Wrap your wings

around me, oh angel

weightless body

floating, sheltered,

angel of my eyes

      “Uh Huh! Uh Huh!”

Gabriel Disguised

"Misguided angel hangin' over me

Heart like a Gabriel, pure and white as ivory

Soul like a Lucifer, black and cold like a piece of lead

Misguided angel, love you 'til I'm dead"  - Cowboy Junkies

His heart black

His demon head

Love how he loves me

Shares my bed

Sleeping now

An angel's embrace

Hold me tight

Be my solace

do they have regrets?

Terror seizes me to find him here

 a foreboding shadow

cocooned in his own feathers

slicked in the oils of darkest treachery

more charred than coal in the flames of hell;

I brace for the sharpest of fangs

and slits of bloodshot eyes to bare

I dread the beast horns

and the lashing whip of a tail

but as those wings unfold, I only see

doleful eyes despairing an innocence lost

utterly forgotten and irredeemable

the last glints of goodness busting away

leaving but madness in his self-corrupted soul

now a memento of sins and sufferings due

he is nothing but a being who desires

a dreamer

a rebel

imperfect.

Spirit(s): Infinite Battle.

1st band cause havoc and mayhem wherever they are. They only want to see the world in complete darkness-with no promise of any chance of light or hope. They follow one of the other spirits who had become jealous of their Creator. He was second in command but that only made him proud. His followers followed suit, and the moment they tried to eliminate their Creator, and those who were against him-they were cast out of the heavenly spiritual land..

2nd group are full of light, honor, love, and are always willing to help. Benevolent guardians who had been rewarded with wings like birds of prey. With bodies radiant like beams of light from the Sun..Another thing they do is fight off malevolent spirits, and keep them from winning the infinite on-going battle.

I thought I was a demon

You had twisted the truth on me

So that I thought I was the demon.

Demon

Eyes abnormally wide

Mouth stretched down to his side

As pale as white paint, pupils of red taint

Hair blackened, with a tongue that kept on waggin

      A demon named Liam

HALLELUJAH!

Tall, very dark, and a handsome devil!

He can meet you on any level

Just how I like 'em! He's so fine

Like a good French wine!

His skin so smooth,

And ya know what he's gonna do

He makes all the girls hot!

He gonna give 'em what they ain't got

Eyes that burn your soul

Lips that can eat you whole

A tongue that can make ya holler

Hands that can spank ya then give you a dollar!

He got a magic wand y'all!

The kind that grants a girls fantasies y'all!

And when the mornin comes y'all

He leaves you wanting more, y'all.

He's a beast, a sexy beast.

A Demon in bed,

HALLELUJAH!

Dichotomies

I see you

For what you are

The rejection of logic

And proof

Of reason

And right

Of love

And mercy

The only commerce

Trafficked in money

And greed

And disregard for

Any

Outside the self

The hubris

Astounds

And enrages me

Yet within the halls

Of democracy

Lies sanity

And good

People who desire

To help

To build

To nourish

The foundations

Upon which we are based

They look toward a world

Only still in the

Imaginations of our young

And see beautiful

Possibilities

If only we will

Join together

And lead the way

The demon I saw

I saw her again along the brooks of my ego.

She stirred at me with a demon reddish pupil.

Hissing like a wounded serpent, I whirl for her wrath was absorbable.

I thought of seeing a horn disgusting creature, a dragon or a creature yet to be discovered.

Moving closer to clearify what I saw.

A golden bracelet round her risk,

Diamond jewelries seems to be her make up kit,

Silver girdle guiding her waist,

Her skin like that of a newly born baby,

Long blunde hair with pink spicey lip,

I clearly believed that the fallen angels were once pretty damsels.

Some war can't be won but survive,

God help me if not her beauty drags me to hell.

Monsters in my mind

Every time I close my eyes I see all the demons I try to hide. Every time I blink they scream. They clamor for my attention, "listen to me, listen." They scratch and claw and tear me apart from the inside. That's why I once bled. The scars were finally visible on the outside. I had wanted to see if I bled black-if I could bleed them out. But I bled a dark crimson. And it didn't make them go away. Nothing made them go away. They pulled at my lips, twisting them into a crooked grin. And inside I begged someone to notice. But they accepted this creature as me. I began to wonder how well they knew me in the first place. And I began to fear that once I did get out of this I wouldn't be able to recognize myself-I had changed so much.
