Prose Challenge of the Week #13: Write a piece about luck, 20 words minimum for the micropoets, 500 words maximum for the storytellers. The winner will be chosen based on a number of criteria, this includes: fire, form, and creative edge. Number of reads, bookmarks, and shares will also be taken into consideration. Luck sucks

It's never there for the things that matter, but always there for the little things that don't count. You can pray, cross your fingers, your heart...it doesn't matter what you do. Luck appears, and disappears when it wants.
