identity

the ink may be smeared,

apologies.

but to whoever it may concern:

please let me in.

i've been hiding

too long

keeping my

heart

black

wrapped

in thorns

hidden away

under vibrant

lace curtains

i'm so

fake

i need to

be with

others like

me

shed these

layers

of fake smiles

and platisicine words

please

let me be

myself
