The Knight

Dragons breathe fire as the princess waits for rescue

The sun is a burning yellow, the skies bright blue

The knight in shining armour is a boy named Zachary White

Whenever he enters a room, he fills it with a glowing light

His parents adore him and tell him they love him so

He has brothers and sisters and a puppy named Glo

He rescues the princess one stormy night

The damsel married him due to his warrior fight

He was so happy, he just loved his world

He had the family, the sunshine. Even the dog and the girl

He had no worries as he lay each night in bed

It's an awful shame, this life was only in his head

In reality his arms are often tightly held down

He smiles as they inject him, never giving them a frown

He believes he lives a life of fame

But for the last nine years he's been clinically insane.
