Imagine you had just been unexpectedly killed by a bus on the street. Instead of dying, you wake up in a separate reality where you are a completely different person. You have the opportunity to be(create) a different sex/personality/religion/sexual orientation/handicap/superpower, whatever you can imagine yourself as. Who are you, and what kind of life have you been living in this separate reality?

A Monk

In my separate reality I am a Buddhist monk living in a cave among the Himalayas.

People come to me to be healed and blessed.  I have been in the cave for 16 years so far, all alone apart from a little mouse who visits me nightly for some rice to eat.

I spend my days chanting "Om mani peme hung" living one with nature.

OM MANI PEME HUNG

The vibrations from the syllable:

OM-removes pride

MA- removes jealousy

NI - removes egotistical desire

PE- removes ignorance

ME- removes greed and stinginess

HUNG- hate and anger, both of ourselves and all beings!

By constantly repeating this mantra and mentally sending light and love to all, we and all other beings receive limitless benefit.
