Protection NOT Destruction!
Guns are supposed to be for personal protection, you do not need an automatic, fast firing weapon or a bazooka to protect yourself, your home or anything else.
A single hand gun should only be sold to each member of the public who requires one, not huge arsenal of weapons.
Moderation, education and sanity is needed.
That way they can be monitored better, stored securely and the law enforcement agencies will be able to control any major situations better. It is easier to stop someone with a hand gun than it is if they are shooting a machine gun!
Ignorance kills
Turning ones back on the truth is what actually kills people.
A gun needs a hand.
In the wrong hands it is not protection it is death.
No one needs an automatic rifle or a machine gun for protecting their home.
Guns are not cool accessories to be carried they are weapons of destruction.
Gun manufacturers do not care who owns a gun as long as they profit from them.
A pool of blood can easily be wiped from a floor but not so easily wiped from inside ones mind.
When our children think guns are cool it just proves that as a society we are failing them.
Allowing criminals to have as good a weapon or better than the members of law enforcement rather defeats the object of law enforcement.
If you get angry with someone and you do not own a gun, you sort the problem out in other ways, owning a gun increases the chance of you acting on the spur of the moment and killing/harming someone.
The 2nd amendment is out dated and not suitable for modern times.
It is only hair
Three times now I have grown my hair long and then cut it so I could send it to make wigs for for children...to me it is only hair. I am lucky to be able to say that as I have never been unwillingly bald, a shaven head to me is nothing. I have never lost it through illness, through cancer etc In fact every time I have cut my hair then shaven my head we have laughed (my daughter and I) it has made us happy, simply because I look funny bald.
But to a little boy or girl it is sadness, it can cause bullying and a lot of tears to be shed.
Now though, I cannot do it again because my hair has grown back grey and fine, so I am the one who is sad now. I am upset because I cannot help the children in that way any more.
So maybe if one of you read this you could instead take my place and do the same? Bring a smile to a child!
