People standing still

After the snow in the season of my death

I walked barefoot upon blades of grass

My feet burned with the blood of wisdom

As I watched the ghosts wander past my skin

Kicking up the dust of a thousand years

The film gelled to my soul creating a cast

Nothing was the same ever since that day

Strangers still smiled at my black eyes

They spoke of life and love and lies of hope

Told to themselves for themselves to feel [permanence]

Years passed and the ghosts blended into rum

Lives into fractions of bone and fragile skin

My feet sore and calloused I walk still

In a world that will always forget

before it remembers

Red To Black

All alone I stand

thinking of all my flaws

Racing through my brain

now without a pause

Praying for the weapons

to fight off these demons

Unaware my echoes

from the walls

are steady screaming

Asking myself how

did I become this monster

How did this mirror trap

such a perverse

imposter

Around my heart

these bricks are standing

as a firm stack

Demon trapped inside

churning my blood from

red to black

An attack that is led on

with such traverse tragedy

n. And also backed up

by such sordid treachery

A epigrammatic of love

held back with all restraint

It's so damn overwhelming

that it makes me faint

I wake up lying right next

to a white picket fence

How the Hell did I get here?

This doesn't make any sense

My memory growing distant

and floating farther away

Like a story that is extant

yet trapped in disarray

On this fence there is a web

but the spider is not crawling

In fact it's withered and dead

the image is almost appalling

Standing up all I see

is a large and empty field

I walk along the fence

into a spot where

my body yields

Placing me to stand

in front of a

faded black gate

With words vaguely

spelling out

"you conjure this fate"

I hear crows in the distance

mocking my labefaction

As the wind whispers

in my ear

"Young man you must take action"

I blink my eyes

and now all I see is

one single grave

With a path around it

that only the maggots

could pave

I clearly see a phrase

written upon the headstone

It says

"This site shall bare your name

if you remain alone"

"So open up and free

your heart so true love

can find you"

"Rise up to reclaim

your soul so no more

chains can bind you"

I wake up back inside

my prayer

and as I let out a sigh

With new hope

I prepare to see

beyond life's

deceptive disguise

Love, Lies, Bleeding

Midnight knocks upon my door

Shadow's secret on its tongue

Leaking slowly from the dark

Drawing lines to where you are

Sweep it quickly under rug

Hidden safely from none

I am 21 years or older.
