Describe through poetry or prose how it feels when someone breaks your trust
Describe through poetry or prose how it feels when someone breaks your trust. No rules. I would suggest that you don't use the word trust, but that is up to your creative liberty.

Flailing

You took the scissors,

And cut the rope,

That hold us close.

No longer are you mine,

Or am I yours,

Leave me behind,

I dare you.

Don't act all innocent,

You've ruin it all,

All we have fought for,

Did you think,

It would only be me,

The one who falls?

No,

Both of us,

Will fall,

And flail,

Thanks to you.

I know how to survive,

I will thrive,

Goodbye.

Nevermore

I relied on you,

Telling you all my plans,

All my secrets,

Everything.

I believed you’d keep it,

Hidden away,

A secret.

But instead you flashed it,

For the whole world to see.

I’ll never rely on you again,

Or tell you all my plans

All my secrets.

Nevermore

Because Trust takes a lifetime to build,

And a second to break,

And you proved that to me.

Nevermore will I trust you.
