Non-Existence

The hot sands scorch my feet

seas of nonexistence churn

as I feel abandoned like

seaweed on deserted beach

broken shells scattered

in white wisps of foam

cold whispers of melancholy

obliterate heat of my sun

aquamarine tides hide

destination that doesn’t exist

I feel numb in cold waves

of salted indifference

Black clouds hide my soul

wet billows of darkness

in angry seas

Why don’t I matter?
