Tales from Nibiru: A Collection of 21st Century Prose and Poems
Have you heard of our sun’s twin star, the dwarf star called Nemesis? It has at least three planets in its orbit and comes into the solar system’s vicinity every 3600 years or so, causing geological and climate changes, or so Dr. Zacariah Sitchin claimed. If you were alive during an approaching cycle and Nibiru caused cataclysmic earth changes, political unrest, etc. what would you write? Entries may be poetry, fiction, or non-fiction (short stories or essays) based on your understanding of Dr. Sitchin’s work. Top entries will be considered for publication in an eBook. Art work is also welcomed. Please submit up to five high quality jpeg images to mountcarmelpublishing@gmail.com. Tag me in your entry, please.

Prehistory holds a Mystery

Did our evolution serve to birth

All naturally, right here on earth?

Was there perhaps an interruption?

A hiccup or a repercussion?

Are we designed to look, not seeing,

Some sentient, parental being?

Homo sapiens, the thinking man,

called Cro-magon, artsy skills in hand,

Quick superseded neanderthals,

Built homes of stones, skins of animals.

This quick advance, inexplicable,

Does seem to beg, ‘was this possible?’
