I've never so eagerly awaited an excuse, a response for why you once again unceremoniously left without notice. I lied to myself once before and told myself I'd never wait in line for anyone, yet I still jolt up and race to the familiar sound only to be disappointed again. It's madness. You made me mad. I used to wait for no man, yawning at them and tossing them aside like a used condom when I was finally finished with playing with them. You just had to come in and change that, then pull the rug out from under me. You accidentally electrocuted me and ran when you realized I'd only end up hurt... Or maybe you felt the aftershock and needed to rescue yourself.

I've gotta stop writing these, gotta pull my mind from you and get under someone else already because I'm exhausted of this merry-go-round. I feel nauseous and want to get off now, but as soon as I see you whizzing past, the ride always feels worth it.
