Once Upon A Dream

I woke up to your kiss

soft lips

evergreen eyes

Charming prince, you woke me from my distant dream

and brought me to a whole new reality

But, visions are seldom all they seem

Your charme splitting at the seems

Waking from a dream,  falling into a nightmare

My skin changes

Pink to blue to pink blue

You make me blush

You make me bruise

Carnivorous raven

Mocking crow

Where did my charming prince go?

I dream we'd be together, in love forever

Wish for a happily ever after

I was wishing for a never

never ending But now I'm screaming for this pain to end.

I lock myself in a tower, behind walls and thorns

But, I find away to let you in

Because everyone else still asleep

You are the only one here, awake with me

I know you

the gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam

Your soft lips against mine

I'm blinded by all I dreamed you could be

But are you the dragon slayer or the beast itself?

You can read me like a book from the shelf

Why do I touch things that make me bleed?

The pain defeats me, but leaves me wanting more

What is this curse?

This spell I cannot break
