'Belief' is opium, dulling the senses, glavanizing the wilful ego. Instead I just watch wearing my magnificent gown of Love.

In 50 words or less; how important is intelligence?
poetry or prose; anything goes.

Considering intelligence is not just the ability to know things, but to be able to apply the things you know means it is infinitely important. Those who just memorize facts are not intelligent. Those who can critically think are. Ignorant people who work in high places are not intelligent.

there isn't enough

darkness

in the world

that can cover up

a genuine

beautiful soul

perhaps, it only takes

the right star

to remind the moon

of the bright wonder

he truly is

Black Envy

I envy the dark, the nothingness, the numbness of the empty space. The corpse left and the spirit free. Even if there is no heaven, no "peace", the nothingness would be the better place. I envy death, the successful suicide. The hollow location my soul can breath. No more pain, no more worry. No disappointing, no weight of life hanging in the balance. Release of my emotions into nothing. My depression worsens as I hear about death, not because of the pain of a person lost, but because that is the one thing I want most, and cannot get.

Or was it my eyes?

My eyes were flooding.

And my breath looked so pretty.

And my lungs said to let my breath in.

But my mouth declined.
