You’ve struck a cord

Pull at my heart strings

With such beautiful things

You have struck a cord

Oh my soul and my Lord

Never thought I’d read such beauty

To you is my tribute and my duty

Your words to me are a priceless treasure

My devotion to you is without measure

With two days without you I do grieve

Today I see you happy am I you must believe

Monday is the first poem I contrive

Til I see you on the morrow when you arrive

Oh my soul oh my heart

Please no more two day ever apart

When I read your words was I about to cry

Just because such a sensitive man am I

No one has ever done this for me

Oh how precious you must be

I am so happy and utter bliss

Your exquisite face I want to kiss

As I gaze upon your wonderful lips

Sweeter than honey with small sips

I truly am thankful for your superlative word

A more magnificent poem I’ve never heard
