Does the name Akwora ring any bells,No! Or did I hear you well? Oh you said No! Nevermind cos the evil that men do lives after them............
Welcome to THE UNRAVELING OF MYSTERIES...
Opens in the mid night, An old woman probably in her sixties is with a kolanut and a jar of water, she stands in the village square and makes incantation, she is wearing a red gown and a red head scarf looking very devilish )
Akaka: Great priestess of our Land, I come in peace (Pours the water on the ground) Great queen of our Land, I ask for favour, (she pours the remaining water, keeps the cup down and eats a piece of kola then throws the leftover)
I have come today, asking for help, Please listen.........
Today, I shall go to my son's house, let him believe everything I tell him, let him obey every word I say ,
let the child in Akwora's womb turn to a spirit....
I ask you these. Do it for me your daughter,( she picks up some sand and says inaudible words, pours it, laughs mischievously.)
(Akwora is on her bed sleeping, suddenly she starts wrestling with someone in her dream. After about fifteen minutes, jumps up sweating profusely)
Akwora: Stop! Noooo!!!! ( As if controlled by a spirit, Breathes profusely, quickly gets up , takes a few bags and goes out of the house)
6 HOURS LATER
Ogar: Wakes up yawns and stretches) gets up in search of his wife and bumps over his mum, you can see an Oh no! Look on his face)
Ogar: Good morning ma (With a frown on his face)
Akaka: Good morning my beloved son, how are you

Ehhh what I've I not seen in your hands?
( Talks bitterly)

she's probably with another man, ( pauses for effect) ( looks him directly in the eye) h..a..v..i..n..g f..u..n. ( Drags the word)
Ogar: She's pregnant for goodness sake, give her a brake!
Akaka: Pregnant? Who made her Pregnant, you or that man?
Ogar: There is no man (Getting angry)
Akaka: Look my son I'm a woman, I know all these signs, why has she not been eating very much recently?
( Pauses for the message to sink in)
Moves closer to him)
Has she even registered for ante, anti, antendsars,
(Ogar looks a bit frustrated now )
No! do you know why? Because she is not Pregnant....
Ogar: Mama please ( tries to hide his angry voice)
Akwora: Your my son I want the best for you, I'm doing these out of love.
She is not Pregnant..... Stop doing this!!! I'm your mother, stop kicking me out of your life, because I carried you for nine months
( She attempts to touch him but he moves on time from her reach)
Ogar: Mama otititi (please) let my family matter be handled by me alone dont meddle in it... I needed you five years ago but you were never there..
Says this and Goes out)
Akwora: (Angry, shouts) I will deal with you, I promise, (looks at camera) No! She called me a witch she used my son's brain against me, she shall know who is who.
( Goes into the house, few minutes later she comes out with a Calabash in her hands, reties her wrapper and walks away)
