Bubba Gump Shrimp
You know that part when you start to love the slow stuttering friend of Forrest Gump and then suddenly he dies in Vietnam? Yeah, that one hurt.
The Needs of the Many
"Do not grieve, Admiral. It is logical. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few ..."
"... or the one."
"You are, and always shall be my friend. Live long and prosper."
A humble hero from the beginning
The story started with this hero saving the main character's life as he struggled with maintaining his sense of humanity.
He even fell in love and was going to be a dad. At this climax, our hero is killed. Glen was no longer by Rick's side in the Walking Dead.
The World’s Best Teacher
Remus Lupin: Who never had a chance to know or raise his infant son, Teddy .
Nagisa and Ushio Furukawa, honestly the most tears I've ever shed in my life. Beautiful anime though.
R.I.P Fred Weasley
The death of one half of the Weasley twins will forever haunt me. To know such a humerous character was taken from his world, and his identical twin brother weighs heavy in my heart.
"Fred's eyes stared without seeing, the ghost of his last laugh still etched upon his face."
I don't think I ever cried,
as hard as I did
when it was revealed...
was only a young child
who died at the hands
of his best friend's little sister;
only for his bones
to be found
by his best friend's
new best friend.
Death is not the end.
Lexa: My fight is over.
Lexa: You were right Clarke. Life is about more than just surviving.
Clarke: [tearful eyes] In peace, may you leave the shore. In love, may you find the next. Safe passage on your travels, until our final journey on the ground. May we meet again.
How to ruin a film
I was so disturbed when Maximus found his tortured and murdered family that for a long time after I saw Gladiator I mentally re-filmed that scene with a happy ending. I just couldn't bear the thought of someone having to endure that. This editing, of course, made the film pointless.
Never let go
"Never let go."
"I promise. I will never let go, Jack. I’ll never let go."
