Pen & Paper
Let your pen free.
Let it project what's happening in your beautiful mind.
Let it mark your paper until the world is inspired by you.
Never let someone steal your ink.
Resuscitate Your Soul
Stamp your feet with possibilities
Release the wild beast within you
Expose your naked creativity and
throw away satin robe of negativity.
Release poetry in your cries
unrolling passion from torn sleeves.
You Always Create
Sitting in Silence
— Creating the Space —
For the Something That's
About to take Place
—Don't let it be Hate—
Push
Think about your favorite book, painting, song. Someone pushed past doubt and failure to create those favorites for you. Think about the possibility of creating someone's favorite. That's reason enough to remain.
If you think about it you are the only person who is ever going to see the beauty of the world through those eyes. Please don't keep that beauty to yourself.
Wonder
I've thought about quitting. Abandoning the godlike epiphany of creation, assuming an average life of drudgery. But one day, lying on my deathbed, I'll wonder what I could have been had I been brave enough.
Flipside
If your sarcasm can make someone smile
Isn't that worthwile?
If your sorrow can quench someone's pain
Isn't it worth trying again?
If your hoplessness can absorb the despair
Doesn't that mean there's something there?
A Worker Bee
We all have a place in this world, no one can be replaced. We, as writers, are destined to lay the foundations for future generations. We create hope for others. So go, and begin creating.
Heard
I know it is hard right now, but push away the voices that keep your own voice muted.
The voices of those who do not want you to succeed. Write to have your voice heard.
You're too good to give up now. If you walk away, all the people who said you couldn't do it will win. Do me a favor- prove them wrong.
