but really, sonic generations is my favorite since i never owned/played any of the games before sonic 0’6 (great, right?), so i got to experience a little bit of all of them in one game.

I just remember that day most vividly - I'd been playing for what felt like ages, the game just kept going and going and I had no idea how it would end (my family hadn't gotten Internet yet in our home, so I couldn't look up spoilers)

I can remember going back to the stables in the game, after what felt like the umpteenth fetch quest, and thinking "Aw, little Epona's all grown up. That's cool."

And then all of the sudden I'm riding across Hyrule.

Sneak with a thousand bits of metal jangling in your pockets.

Eat irradiated cereal without developing tumors.

Crush all forms of government you disagree with.

Replace them with shacks and caravans of drifters.

Take drugs.

Fight zombies.

Drink like it’s 1999.

Party like it’s 1955.

And when the deathclaws catch up to you, nuke the ground at your feet.

Two apocalyptic cities, one already at deaths door and the other falling apart at every level. Each one filled with different beliefs, neither willing to listen. Incapable of healing, destruction rots them from their foundations. A falling castle in the sky and another Atlantis buried at sea.

Yes, even more than Final Fantasy VII, though not by too large of a margin. Why, you may ask? Well I'll tell you. The music, for one, is superb. Go on YouTube and listen to it if you don't believe me. Second, the story is dynamic with twists and turns you will not see coming. And lastly, the characters, perhaps the most important of them all. Though the graphics are chibi-styled, you will hold to these characters as their stories progress steadily. Plus, you can even recruit Cloud to your team!
