back
into Earth’s vessel
Sealed with Winter’s cork
ANY SEASON.
Any season spent
confined at home on lockdown
is the worst season
- - -
Summer
Sweat, Sticky, Humid.
It clings to everything good
A Pool of regret.
- A take on Georgia weather
match made in heaven
the darkness outside
sweetly befriends my numbness:
neverending hell.
Mud
Spark'ling snowflakes shrink,
melting 'neath the midday sun,
'fore the greens awake.
*Why? It's ugly.*
-Season of life-
...my life is passing...
...my duties await me, but...
I'm very tired

Frozen Fingers
Winter's bitter air
Leaves me with frozen fingers
And nothing to say
-A Deaf perspective on winter
Azalea Achoo
Trees stretch. Flowers grow.
Sneaking sunbeams warm the Earth,
launching allergies.
(more words to make this long enough to enter)
winter
ragged wintry gusts
carve the pallid icebound boughs
a whitewashed palette
-----------------------------------------
a haiku about my favourite season, winter
Mosquitos, sweat and tears.
bite , buzz, leave their marks,
clinging shirt, the sun burns so,
"fatso" shamed at pool.
