Since I can remember I have always seen her. Outside my window relaxing near some trees, on a cold night passing by my side, on a bench near a park, where I would normally walk to. She was always a source of comfort to me, a lighthouse that would guide me with her melodies. In my darkest days, I would see her and I would immediately know everything was going to be alright. It almost felt like someone had sent her to be my guardian angel.

This time it was no different. You see recently I had just lost my job, and at the same time rather curiously I realized that my job was not my calling in life. Now some people might say this could be something positive, after all, I just got let down of the job, now I have an opportunity to find what I truly would like to do. However, never have I felt so lost in my life, the uncertainty of what was to come greatly scared me.

Then there she was laying in the sill of the window, her fiery wings tucked in around her body singing me some sweet melody. Suddenly, her wings extended and she flew away with the last breath of the night, my chirping dawn! The one that is always keeping me sane.

Keeping me sane is part of the game. Even with the pain you are keeping me tame. I am to blame for your fame you just swerved into my lane. I drain the plain jane from my vein. The rain leaves a stain on the lion´s mane. The same gain I obtain from the cocaine is drowning my brain.

It was a day full of problems in my life. I started to complain. But a friend advised me to go to a psychologist. There was a famous psychologist in town. But his service fee is very expensive. I needed the advice of a psychologist and I had to take a risk. I made an appointment with that psychologist ...

Here is the psychologist's room. As soon as I entered the room, I was strange: the room was white! Everything was white! White chair, white wall and white door!

I sat in a chair and waited for the psychologist to come. At that moment a thin man entered the room. He stared at me as he leaned against the wall. He then removed his prosthetic arm. And he also removed his prosthetic leg. Oh! He was disabled! But even in this state he lives without complaining!

"What's wrong with you?" he asked!

I was silent. I hated myself. I got up and left the room ...

The Sane True Blues

Keeping me sane is the game we’re playing while staying away from civilization. Wishing this time would fly as the days pass by, but it flows too slowly and I’m getting kinda lonely. I’m deeming my freedom, perhaps sometime this season? Sounds too good to be true as this virus continues to bloom up around us, making the world a gloom. Life’s a disgraceful place to be, I hope it won't be long till we get to sing that happy song and life can soon resume. Keep your hopes up high that this stressed out mess will soon subside and die without saying goodbye!

Keeping Me Sane

What shall I do with all of the time I have since the entire company got laid off from the corona virus? Easy! Write! This is what's keeping me sane! So far I wrote four books! Now, I'm enjoying working on another one!

Hopefully all of you have been doing the same thing. This is so much fun! That and doing these challenges on this site!
