Here and Now

I'm here floating on a flying carpet destination unknown.

My head feels like a flapping bird, and goes off on its own

In the break of dawn the carpet will land, and the fog will move on.

My head will calm and be still. The birds wings have gone.

My faithful pillow beckons me, a yearning so indeed.

Always constant never changing exactly what I need!

Tis time to say farewell, as my dreams are calling me. In the morn

I know my body will come back to me

Betrayal

The smile with a jab, the trust you once had.

Did it ever exist, will you ever be missed?

Is this a dream, or not what it seems. Then reality hits, and the pain takes the reins.

Shock runs amuck, denial, bad luck!?

Why is this happening, how could they!? When all you share is kindness, and to brighten others days!

Ultimately no matter where you are, or what you do. There will always be those who, shock and betray you!

When the mask slips.

Beware of the toxic tongues and darkness that hides.

Although appears buried but always inside.

Though for a time they cling on for a while. Eventually the poison seeps out and the insults arrive.

Even though forever hopeful, a positive change will uplift.
