Lost in her mind

She can’t seem to find,

The answers.

Her soul

Is trapped in a hole

Too deep to know how to climb out.

She’s dying...

Just trying,

To find her way out.

She screamed to the trees, the birds, and the bees!

Trying to learn how to see again.

She feels lost...

So lost...

She’s tired of playing pretend.

Dear Dad,

My heart is sad.

I found out the other day,

That you had passed away.

I wish I could give you one last hug.

I miss you and your love.

I feel lost knowing you aren’t around.

I miss your voice and the way that it sounds.

I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye.

Now you are in heaven, painting the sky.

I know one day we’ll meet again.

I’ll impatiently wait, until then.

For now all I can do, is write you this letter.

Please know that I’ll love you, forever and ever.

I want to runaway

To a place

Full of Tulips and Daisies

Dragonflies and so many Roses

Where you feel

The Sun Rays

Hit your face, feeling its warmth.

With beautiful puffy white clouds

The kind you look up at

And dream about laying on.

The light warm breeze

Blowing through the trees

Hearing the sound the leaves make

When the wind blows through them

Just Right.

I want to runaway

To a place

Full of colorful trees and waterfalls

Hot springs, surrounded by giant Sunflowers

And through them

Is a stone path

Leading to the beach

With warm sand and Palm Trees

Sea Shells and the Ocean

Crystal clear waters

The sound of waves

Crashing down calmly onto the shore

Dolphins splashing around in the background.

And at night

I want to runaway

To a place

Where sparkling rocks and crystals

Light up the dark night sky

The moon so full

Illuminating the way

To a lake full of bright colorful fish, glowing.

The sound of wolves

Howling in the distance

Owls fully awake

Speaking to nature

I want to runaway

To a place

Where I am unchained

From this darkness

I am locked up in,

Escaping from this life.

I want to runaway

To a place

Where I am free...

He tortured himself with the lies that filled his head.

For he could not lose her, so he tied her to the bed.

She was not to whisper, cry, or yell.

For he would make her life a living hell.

It just was not good enough.

So as he held her down,

He threaded her mouth shut,

So she could never make a sound.

No one would ever know,

How he tortured her mind.

No one would know,

How he forced her to confine.

For he loved her so much

That it hurts,

That’s what he said.

Claiming it is just love,

Then he strangled her...

to death.
