Rise, welcome to Earth.

I am your guide son, Father.

Soon, puberty comes my son.

Almost to manhood my son.

I'm no longer there my son.

An elder will pass.

The first baby's breath.

The first warm sensation. Her.

Very much like her.

My mom. She bought it

for me when I learned to walk.

Memories were made

on my soft blanket.

Mixed with snot and my own tears.

Especially from

ages five to ten.

Fast forward to my twenties.

I can't remember

her scent anymore.

But nevertheless i still

cried for her, sometimes.

Shocking entrance - life

Blurred images, startled breaths

A sweet face smiles

A consciousness blooms

Learning, growing, feeling now

Following, flying

I fight, I question

I wonder why it all is

I will conquer it

Far too much to do

All around me need a piece

I have lost "I" - rushed

Quiet confidence

Wisdom replaces hurry

I greet friend Death soon

Wake to a wet smell,

Somebody is crying. Hush!

I'm trying to talk.

I find my two feet,

I stand up and choose to speak,

I've got a voice now.

A choice at my door,

Stay right here or go explore,

I feel you're waiting.

Speeds in space make seasons

Ant on big planet

Must prepare for snow to rain

full of snares

I started off small

nine months after Sputnik

a blossom of summer

a chemistry set and friends

for life with weird sorts of minds

don’t be a wise guy, I was told

I prospered and married (twice)

helping teach people how to be

free, but gloom blew through

a harsh autumn took hold

as I grew old until joy just

dawned, like a fresh embrace
