Black and Flash
"And make sure the caterer is still on for today! They cannot cancel on us!" I emphasized.
It was my mother's wedding, and I wanted everything to be perfect, only because I loved my mom. Her fiance, my step-father to be, was a different story. He gave me weird vibes. My mom is a multi-millionaire, and she was just as naive as she was rich. She always dated guys who were very obviously after her money, and didn't listen when people warned her about their red flags. Mark was no acceptation. He was an obvious gold-digger, but that didn't turn away my mother, who was blind as could be to his flaws. He would always ask her questions about her money, and especially her will. My mom, being naive and foolish, always answered. That was only the beginning of her downfall.
After the ceremony and during the reception, I noticed Mark across the room talking with 3 guys in black suits.
'Why the hell isn't he with his bride?' I thought, extremely annoyed.
*ring ring* I grabbed my phone. "Unknown number? That's weird." I answered it anyway. "Hello?"
"Hello? It's the caterer. You forgot something. Do you want to come out to the car and get it?"
"Sorry, what? I don't think I forgot something. I counted all the cupcakes and all 32 are here."
"I think you left your bag out here or something."
"I didn't have a bag..." I responded confusedly.
"Well can you just come out here and confirm it isn't yours? Company policy.." The girl on the line sounded annoyed.
"Okay. I guess so." Confused and annoyed that I had to leave my mom's wedding reception, I jumped up from my seat and hurried outside.
What I didn't see was Mark and the 3 men point to me and duck out the back door.
As I got outside I saw the girl who was on the phone. I rushed over to her. "Where's the bag? I just need to get back inside."
"Yeah sure. Right here." She opened up the door to a black BMW SUV. "Right on that seat in there."
Confused because I didn't see a bag, I leaned in further. "Where is it? I don't see a ba-"
Suddenly I felt a sharp stabbing pain in my leg. "Oh my god!!" I screamed and clutched my thigh. I whirled around to see my step-father looming over me before I collapsed to the ground.
When I came to my vision was blurry and my mouth dry. My hair had fallen out of its high ponytail and was falling loosely around my sweaty face. My leg was still sore where I had been stabbed. I tried to move but I was duct taped to a metal chair. Around my feet was what seemed to be straw. It was dark in the room and there were no windows. There was a small lamp and a door directly across from me. I started screaming and sobbing uncontrollably. "LET ME OUT!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I was petrified and confused when the door across from me creaked open and Mark walked in.
"Mark! Oh my god, please help me. What the hell are you even doing? Why did you stab me in the leg?"
"Oh relax, would you? I didn't really stab you. Not with a knife at least. I stabbed your with a syringe. I just needed your to sleep for a little. I knew you wouldn't come peacefully."
"Mark, what are you doing? What do you want from me? I'm sure my mother will give it to you, just please let me go." I pleaded as tears streamed down my cheeks and my voice wavered.
"I need more from you then what you can give me, Kayla." He smirked. "I need to be you. I need your mother to treat me like you. I need- Well, you've got the picture."
Snomenia’s Dandruff Problem
Snomenia was a sky goddess. Her mother was Raimenia and her father Thundimae, the sky king. Her brother, the sky prince, Lightnymis, was always stealing her shampoo. That was a problem, because Snomenia had a big dandruff problem. Her scalp was as dry as the Sahara Desert, and the only thing that helped was her special dandruff shampoo that her brother always stole!
During ball season, when Snomenia and her mother would go to many balls together, Snomenia would need to shake her head upside down, letting all of the dandruff fall out of her luscious hair. The Earth below would get showered with Snomenia's dandruff.
Now, I'm sure if the inhabitants of Earth knew that what they call 'snow' was actually Snomenia's dandruff, they wouldn't be so fond of it. But we won't tell them... right?
