Sunday Night Under the Stars

What was it that you said again?

"I'll die before my love runs out".

Are you dead yet? Tell me when

my sunny days will be filled with clouds-

Skies that aren't blue.

Dreams, that aren't you

I'll regret who told me,

"Just hold me". Forget you!

I am through.

Challenge

An

eye for

an eye is

a funny way

to insight and it

just might help me see what

you see, so tell me how to

be free. No- better yet show me!

because the thing you don't realize

is all you'll show the guys is how to be

You never want to hear me out, you doubt

that I want to help you, is it true

they say that I'm full of myself?

It's not me, but something else

and I swear I've seen

what seems to be a

brand new way to

think outside

of only

You

Psalm 73:25-26

Whom have I in heaven but you?

And earth has nothing I desire besides you.

My flesh and my heart may fail,

but God is the strength of my heart

and my portion forever.

I can love nothing more than God. I may fail many times on my own

but if he's the most almighty, how can leaning on his strength fail?

Describe a red rose, covered in dew, with its petals barely bloomed in the morning sun... But do not use the words: red, rose, dew, petals, bloom, morning, or sun. :)

Shedding.

We lock eyes in the same moment.

A shadow of brightness cast over each inch of her,

faltering from her distant family above.

Shyly, yet, ever so flirtatiously, she twirls in the breeze.

I blush, and wonder if the dance was for me?

stepping, softly towards her-

cautious as if to chance awakening a beast

I move in to attempt to caress her.

But, it seems her love was just as daunting as I had thought-

a beast had awaken, and left me bleeding,

both on the surface of my chest,

and on the gentle organ inside.

White.

The Black Man hates me.

But he knows not what creates me.

I find weakness in

My great-great-grandfather's sin

Mind set- inside, and on skin.
