surreptitious

when he (suppresses that

secret that) cramps the

enclosed nature of

beingboxedin, it makes

hidden and cloaked the

sub-rosa life he wants

because veiled, she looks

precise in her beauty, the

accurate and clearly stated

exposition leaves them devious

love is shady when

she is cunning and

he is wily accessible (in that distinct

ohio flair) together bare faced

and evident they

open to calculated risks,

scheming between inevitable and

masked insidious natures that

suggest radiance only gleams when

spiders make webs in mourning,

together their admission allows

squeals of confession to be

unconditional, they (and we)

accept that obtuse living

must be an edgeless

dull suggestion of seclusion and

isolation, so in dark reticence

they learn plot and hoax in the

heart of the prairie

to believe in duplicity,

the hustle that flimflams

anything relevant, pertinent,

forever they can be appropriate and just.
