An Out of This World Prompt

@Rug, @Ferryman and @MeeJong went on to write this based upon prompts from random sections of books they had within arm's reach...

Emboldened by their success with earth women, Mac, Zeebo, and Wiploc decided to explore downtown Los Angeles. Before the conglomeration landed, the city had been something different, but now, it was a party town. A town designed for sonic sounds and all of the legal narcotics a teenage tri-pedal could widah for. A town the trio felt destined to rule, or maybe burn down, depending on how the mood took them.

Before the conglomeration landed, the city had been something different, but now, it was a party town. A town designed for sonic sounds and all of the legal narcotics a teenage tri-pedal could widah for. A town the trio felt destined to rule, or maybe burn down, depending on how the mood took them.

Meanwhile, the Robeast started a fire in the woods! It’s difficult to say whether the smell of charred wildlife or the reality of exploded meth labs were worse, but those are the outcomes of a fire in those woods. Not that the Robeast had any clue. He just was trying to see.

He'd caught glimpses of the aliens by the pool, cavorting, carousing, and carrying on with those easy tramps renting the mid-century modern off Melrose. Now that the obscuring bushes were ash, nothing could stop his fevered gaze.

If it were anywhere else, he might have felt bad. Here, he did not. Everything was out in the opening. So much so, that he felt comfortable in the presence of his uncle. Family. It should be weird, but it's not. I offer my uncles my hand.

Fortuitously, uncle had a bouncer job at an exclusive LA nightclub. He let me right on in. Now this was a world I didn’t want to demolish. The depraved, attention seeking behaviour, clearly they were going to self-destruct.

Robeast approaches Mac, Zeebo, and Witloc. The three aliens grin at the mechanical monster, and they share a laugh as two ladies make eyes at them from the end of the bar. "Earth girls," they speak in their chittering, insectlike language. "They make being stationed on this backwater planet so easy."

"Hey, metal man! You and your new friends wanna party?" One of the girls calls out, gesturing in an alien way. The four share a look that they all individually decide means I'm in. They slide across the room to meet them.
