Tiger
The separation of this Tasmanian Tiger saved its life.
As long staring it cast it's eyes to the smoke dotted valley below, from so many settlers huts.
The believers thought him a killer this last of his kind marsupial wolf, searching for signs of his passing, like caliginous birds of prey.
In a forgotten time and place weidersehen was the cry to see again
Though never no more the likes of his kind again.
