I see him smiling

walking a dog

whos no longer with me

I see him drowning in dreams

of future and stars

I see me in all of them

They are what I could be

some on the street begging for me

some on the highway parking their very own SUV

some smiling with families

some all alone crying in misery

Differences I see but more alike they seem

because want is

All I see

They are

All I could be

but I am me

It tells me one thing is for sure

between all I could be and can be

I am me

And that is the one I wanna be
