Silent space

shattered by love


you keep letting it fall


like a pebble in a well


a splash a distant echo


then you reach down


just to toss it back

how do we climb


when the ground


keeps swallowing our steps

 do i let you be the storm
 that rips the roof off

warming the wreckage

trapped in this cycle
