Stride
Morning walk
Stop to talk
It's going to be a great day
Next corner right
Can't wait until night
Where working people do play
Feet sweating
Throat wetting
On a nice hot cup of java
In the wind
Yet again
Heat on my neck like lava
Legs cramping
Shirt damping
Half of the morning is gone
Greeting neighbors
Speaking of labor
It's time to get my butt home
Walking faster
Painful laughter
My knees didn't get the memo
Two blocks to go
There is no more joe
I should've flagged down that limo
Finally home
How long have I been gone
Where there's pain there's sorrow
Good walk for today
Now I have to get my pay
I will do it all again tomorrow
