The kind of trope that makes you say, "Ugh, this again" or "Really, we gotta go through this bs".
“I’ve got a plan!”
If a character spells out their plan and everything they’re going to do, it’s not going to work.
If the character doesn’t say what they’re about to do, it will work, and all the other characters will be astonished.
