My Pawn

As I play, I am alone.

My piano is alongside me but it is merely my pawn.

It has a voice but I control it.

I bend it to my will and make it sing.

The voice that emerges sounds as I have told it to.

Therefore, it is my voice and without me, my piano is useless.
