The demons

I see demons every day roaming

stench of ego fogs the school halls

beady eyes watching you, waiting for you to trip

Others have long hands waiting to grab you

The dangerous ones look human and sweet, for the untold black hole that is in their souls awaits, sometimes it appear in their eyes or smile.

I've dealt with those at a young age, not knowing who they really were.

I was scared of being alone so I stayed...longer than I should have.

Fresh air filled my lungs as I basket in the sun holding the hand of my future ride or die best friend, I saved her from my past demons. though she doesn't remember.
