As I sit and stare at the moonlit sky,
My heart aches with sorrow, my mind awry.
Memories of you flood my mind,
Of all the love we left behind.
The silence is deafening, the pain so real,
I long for your touch, your kiss, your feel.
But you are gone, and I am alone,
With nothing but the memories we've known.
