Lady Macbeth

There is blood on my hands, and I cannot rub out this damned spot.

I wear my former sins, like a second layer of skin.

Red stains my palms,

Caked coagulation under my nails but no one seems to see it.

My tainted conscience is proof of my guilt begotten.
