Spelling Test #5
This is the fifth in a series of challenges designed to use a list of spelling test words. This one will be a bit easier than the last one, I'm looking at words from grade 3. Use them in a poem or a piece of prose. This is your list of 20 words: butter, clown, horse, gift, heavy, cheese, boxes, build, laugh, shopping , sky, prize, thick, voice, together, warm, string, young, afraid, caught. Good luck.

Ice Lives Warm in my Eyes

Ice lives warm in my eyes, spilling with the white string from my mouth connected to your ephemeral pole. My love, I look like a big catch caught freely. Your prize for being a good boy to this Sea Monster who never tasted the sky, the Ocean- like God's love which I never escaped from. My young tongue had never beheld such a thick landscape: white horses on the waves coasting, trampling fleshy fields of taste buds begging to bloom into beautiful words. Our voice boxes contain gifts that were afraid to be opened, yet humiliating each holiday if heard. Heavy breathing, build-up of sweat glazed on wide chests re-enacting mankind's first fire with such butter-friction. And we won't stop until the first spark, for when apart we're but unfunny clowns, together we're happy beggars... Laughing 'cause even though we don't have the 'cheese', we're still on shopping sprees since our love is rich, rich, rich... Enough for Ice to live warm in our eyes- Happy.
