Upside Down

Hanging upside down

I looked above to Hell

and it called out to me.

So I jumped down to play

with the shadows,

they chased me onto a bridge

where I became their mirror ...

Tears filled my body,

mind and soul,

silence erupted ...

and I jumped from the ledge

hoping to shatter

the image that plagued me...

Here at the bottom of the sky

my pain no longer lingers on repeat

chasing things I can not see ... ...
