Self-murder

I stood vulnerable

Gazing at the sharp end of it

She had no choice

Murder was her cruel gift of life to me

There we stood

I the victim

I the perpetrator

She held it in her hands

Yet I gave it to her

The cold blade

Froze my feverish heart

Turned it into ashes

She tore it apart

.

.

.

She stabbed me with my love.
