They seem to still be in love with one another

But killing each other with lies

Claiming to be alright

But are they?

Playing games they are

In daylight they smile

At nighttime they cry

Why is it that way?

Do they want it that way?

Friends they said they would stay

And forget about their past

Move on is what they say

Deception is the order of the day

Do they really want it this way?
