Darkness Settles In

As the darkness settles in

The light begins to dim

Waiting on a final breakthrough

So I can live again

As long as there's a glimpse of spark

There's hope to save the light

Feeling like I'm 6 feet under

Slowly buried alive

Each day I hope the answer comes

Pull me from this shallow grave
