Editing
Being told to edit your work seems to be an extremely bitter pill for writers to swallow. Do you go back and edit your work? Why or why not? Does it make a difference of someone else suggests edits? Why does that hurt?
Trust the Editor
If someone criticizes your work, you are blessed. Most writers trust their critics. Editors are why the literary world rotates! My mom was in awe of my thoughts and in disgust of how I expressed them. When we worked together, I won awards.
