It’s Just the Change

The world burns.

Everything seems to come

crashing down all at once.

Hope, joy, happiness. Nothing

feels real anymore. No one knows

the future. Even less people

seem to want to find out.

Clarity is hidden behind

a cloud of smoke and a pile of ash.

People cry.

Others scream in agony.

Everyone just wants it to return

back to normal. There's no such thing

as normal anymore. Now,

it's just the future.

It's just the change.
