Stuck

I dream of fleeing

sprinting, leaving

my ears hearing freedom ringing

my voice shouting, singing

my head thinking this must be

a dream I'm living

my heart giddy, gleaming

Until my feet get so heavy

I stay on the same ground

my heart screaming

mouth making no sound
