wind my mistress

the wind, the crow they fly, they do

it speaks the wind, it does

i hear its secrets subdued, it woos

with haunting voice, wisps' swirls soft breeze

it flows along my skin seduces me its voice to hear

'cross lonely haunting shades of sound, mysteriously invites

"follow me, run and fly and lie with me,

i do stroke, arouse your curiosity and taste,

i'm yours for your taking; follow me as you will

leave you transfixed upon my invisibility, my secrets i do share,

the sun is my keeper, with his heat, he makes me blow across the land

far and near away from here i carry scents and sounds

to your threshold will carry you across"

the crow it does confirm the wind who carries him aloft

he caws and adds his own testimony's unsolicited cocky voice

cackling sound breaks the waves of silence, pronouncing haunted calls

in partnership with the wind in this desolate, lonely place,

marking harmony with their voice of the spirits gone,

passed along through the veils, gone to another dimension plane

the wind and the crow do absolve me to my inner voice released,

telepathic silence as my eyes do follow,

give the wind its form of line and curve

its sway of living things projecting from the earth

far into the distance i do yearn to walk and reach the other side

in the moaning sides, rushing in through canyons deep and wide,

teem with wondrous moving things that hide inside bush and tree,

perfumes release they do, aromas in this breeze, offshoot wings of the wind

brings in heat warmed by the sun, that does reside in rifts of rocks,

littered round with coyote's and raccoon feces, abound,

hoot owl's dropped cocoons, regurgitated hair and bone,

sweet artifacts of intrigue, delightful to my tired eye yet curious

virgin wilderness no footprint of man does not invade

far off away from cities' heat and strife, i do endure the high up climb

upheld by the wind, her words kept true beyond my former sullen blues

she led, she took and carried me here, like the crow aloft

before i followed her promised course, my cross and empty brain

transformed become; a gazing curious mind in search of wind's unending speech

for you, or anyone of willing quiet mind,

of wearied world's pollution noise with swell of maddening rush,

take heed i plead you hear, today i followed along

with the wind, with her sweet rushes' voice,

did beg, i did to follow more until my heart and head collapsed

upon the ground with bits of matter,

twigs and specks of quartz, stuck upon my soiled skin

i fell asleep against a gorge; its rocks became my bed

through the night i hear her rush, her roar across the canyon's throat

awe for her voice fills my ears; her touch does cleanse my soul

I am 21 years or older.
