The Window

It was a good day to play outside.

But Ruby did not want to play with her brothers and their friends.

So she waited at the window.

Ruby sat at the window watching her brothers and their friends play in the backyard.

"Hey, Ruby." Ruby turned her head to her two friends, Marilyn and Lillian. She had caught a glimpse of them from the reflection of the window.

"Hey." Ruby smiled and got off the chair to walk over to her friends.

"Let's go ruin their fun, yeah?" "Sure." Lillian agreed and Marilyn rolled her eyes.
