drifting
miss you in the moment
love you in the past
paint you in black and white
colors cannot last
someday we'll meet again
when our shoulders brush
nothing more than strangers
lost to morning's hush

@sanjana_s I finished this poem over a month after I wrote the first three lines...people always think that drifting apart from someone is bad and it hurts but I find it strangely comforting in a way that those memories always stick around even if that person doesn't
